01 / DOCUMENTARY & VOLUNTEERING
A teaching journey, a camera, and the people who made a place feel like more than a destination.
During my volunteer teaching experience in a remote village in Guangxi, China, I gained a deeper understanding of the social realities shaping rural communities, particularly population migration and unequal access to educational resources. Despite the limitations of their surroundings, the children impressed me with their sincere dreams, curiosity, and infectious enthusiasm. Equally inspiring were the teachers, who, despite limited formal education and resources, remained devoted to passing on knowledge to generations of children in this isolated region. Through this documentary, I hope to capture not only the challenges these communities face, but also the resilience, warmth, and quiet dedication of those who call these mountains home.
02 / AWARD-WINNING SHORT FILM
Finding a shared voice through the stories we tell.
A FILM BY VIVIAN & COLLABORATORS
Your award-winning film will appear here.
Man’er follows a 16-year-old girl who, overwhelmed by online criticism, gradually withdraws from reality and turns to AI for emotional comfort. Through seemingly ordinary moments with her grandmother and sister, she rediscovers the warmth of genuine human connections and learns to appreciate life's small joys. As my first experience leading a short film production, Man’er took me through every stage of filmmaking—from refining the screenplay, designing shots, casting actors, and scouting locations to managing shooting schedules, carefully composing each frame, arranging lighting, and finally editing and color grading. Every detail demanded my attention, and the process was often painstaking. Yet, immersed in the work, I hardly felt exhausted. Instead, I found myself enjoying every challenge, simply because I was doing something I genuinely loved. More than a finished film, Man’er became a personal exploration of storytelling and the quiet fulfillment of bringing imagination to life.

COLLECTION 01 / TIBET
While volunteering at an apple orchard in Xizang, I helped pick apples and documented the experience through my lens. Beyond harvesting, I learned from local farmers about cultivation techniques, ripening seasons, and the orchard's development—knowledge no textbook could offer. I came to realize how even the most ordinary fruit, so easily taken for granted in our daily lives, depends on sunlight, rainfall, and farmers' tireless care. This experience deepened my appreciation for the labor behind life's simplest necessities and reminded me to cherish the educational opportunities I have been fortunate to receive.
